Description:
At 246 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 26
miles east of Hagerman, or 41 miles southeast of Roswell, moving east
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of East Central Chaves County.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Frequent lightning and damaging winds are likely from this storm, but
little rain will reach the ground.
