Description:
At 211 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong showers
with gusty outflow winds 8 miles northeast of Hagerman, or 24 miles
southeast of Roswell, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hagerman.
This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 179 and 188.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
