East Central Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico... Southwestern Quay County in east central New Mexico... * Until 530 PM MDT. * At 445 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles southeast of Cuervo to 6 miles west of House, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... House, Montoya, Newkirk and Ragland. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 300 and 313.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.
