Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico... * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 649 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles east of Bottomless Lakes State Park, or 24 miles east of Roswell, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Central Chaves County. This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 174 and 183.
