* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, west winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures between 22 and 28 possible. * WHERE...Central Highlands, Eastern San Miguel County, Far Northeast Highlands, Harding County, and Northeast Highlands. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 11 AM to 6 PM MDT Friday. For the Freeze Watch, from late Friday night through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap, drain or allow them to drip slowly.
