Description:
* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures between 28 and 32 expected. The
coldest temperatures will be over the west mesa and along the
valley floor.
* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area, and San Agustin Plains and Adjacent Lowlands.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap, drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
