Description:
* WHAT...Sustained south winds 35 to 45 mph, with gusts near 60 mph
expected.
* WHERE...White Pine, Southern Lander and Southern Eureka,
Northeastern Nye, and Northwestern Nye Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 AM PDT this morning until 11 PM PDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Blowing dust may reduce the visibility to one
mile or less in spots.
Instruction:
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
