The National Weather Service in Elko Nevada has issued a * Dust Advisory for... East central Lander County in north central Nevada... Northwestern White Pine County in northeastern Nevada... Central Elko County in northeastern Nevada... Northern Eureka County in north central Nevada... * Until 845 PM PDT. * At 721 PM PDT, a dust channel was 15 miles south of Pine Valley, moving north at 40 mph. HAZARD...Less than three miles visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. * Travelers on NV278, NV306, NV225, NV226, NV227, NV228, and I-80 could encounter reduced visibility due to blowing dust. Please use caution if traveling tonight. Locations impacted include... Elko, Carlin, Crescent Valley, Beowawe, Jiggs, South Fork, Pine Valley, Dunphy, Lee, Lamoille, Deeth, Ryndon, Emigrant Pass, Spring Creek, Tuscarora, Palisade, Willow Creek Reservoir, North Area Mine, Star Valley, and Adobe Summit.
Instruction: 
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake. Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE! To report severe weather, contact the National Weather Service, or your nearest law enforcement agency, who will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Elko Nevada.
