Description:
At 517 PM MDT, emergency management reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pine Ridge Estates to
near Torrington Municipal Airport to Stegall. Movement was east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported 1/2 inch sized hail in Lingle.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Torrington, Morrill, Lingle, Henry, Huntley, Southern Hills Estates,
Torrington Municipal Airport, Pine Ridge Estates, Goshen County
Fairgrounds, and Hwy 85 At Dry Rawhide Creek.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska...and southeastern Wyoming.
