Description:
At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms capable of producing a landspout near Albin, or 26
miles west of Kimball, moving northwest at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albin.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska...and southeastern Wyoming.
