Description:
At 840 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northwest of Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, or 31 miles
northeast of Torrington, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crawford, Harrison, Roberts Trailhead Campground, Agate Fossil Beds
National Monument, Whitney Lake, Soldier Creek Campground, Montrose,
Fort Robinson State Park, and Toadstool Geological Park and
Campground.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
