...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITY THROUGH 8PM FRIDAY...
* WIND...On Thursday, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up
to 50 mph. Thursday night, variable in the evening, becoming
south around midnight with localized gusts up to 40 mph
possible through Friday morning. On Friday, south winds becoming
west at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* HUMIDITY...On Thursday, between 10 and 20 percent. Thursday
night, humidity recoveries to between 40 and 65 percent. On
Friday, between 6 and 12 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
