...RED FLAG WARNING CONTINUES THROUGH THURSDAY FOR PORTIONS OF
THE HIGH PLAINS...
* AFFECTED AREA... Fire weather zones 433, 435, and 436.
* WIND... West to northwest winds with gusts of 40 to 60 mph.
* HUMIDITY... 12 to 20 percent.
* IMPACTS... Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Expect humidity recoveries only to around
35 to 45% Thursday morning with occasional wind gusts of 40 to
60 mph anticipated.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
