.RED FLAG WARNING FROM 11AM TUESDAY THROUGH 8PM WEDNESDAY.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM Tuesday to 8 PM MDT
Wednesday.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 417, 418, and 430 through
437.
* WIND... Southerly winds 10 to 15 mph on Tuesday with gusty
erratic showers in the afternoon. Southwest winds with gusts
between 30 and 45 mph on Wednesday.
* HUMIDITY...5 to 10 percent on Tuesday and 10 to 15 percent on
Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
