At 526 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Overton, or 13 miles east of Lexington, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Elm Creek around 530 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Odessa. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 245 and 267.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for south central Nebraska.
