Description:
At 517 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Halsey, or 20 miles southeast of Thedford, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brewster, Dunning, Halsey, Linscott, and Hawley Flats.
This includes Highway 2 between mile markers 227 and 247.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
central and north central Nebraska.
