Description: 
At 742 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles north of North Platte, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Lincoln, southwestern Logan and southeastern McPherson Counties. This includes the following highways... Highway 92 between mile markers 216 and 222. Highway 97 between mile markers 4 and 13. Highway 83 between mile markers 98 and 106.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southwestern and west central Nebraska.
