Description:
At 434 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Crawford, or 18 miles southwest of Chadron, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crawford, Whitney, Chadron Municipal Airport, Roberts Trailhead
Campground, Chadron State Park, Whitney Lake, Red Cloud Campground,
Fort Robinson State Park, and Chadron State Park Campground.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
