Description: 
At 429 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 8 miles south of Flahertys Corner to near Lake Minatare State Recreation Area to near Harrisburg. Movement was east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew, and Kilpatrick Lake around 435 PM MDT. Bayard around 440 PM MDT. Chimney Rock National Historic Site around 445 PM MDT. Hemingford and Box Butte County Fairgrounds around 450 PM MDT. Angora and Berea around 455 PM MDT. Alliance around 500 PM MDT. Bridgeport, Bridgeport State Recreation Area, and Northport around 505 PM MDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Wild Horse Butte, Moomaw Corner, Wrights Gap, South Bayard Junction, and The Intersection Of Highway 385 And L62.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
