Description:
At 403 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm a
few miles north of Sutton, or 17 miles southwest of York, moving
north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Henderson and Lushton.
This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 337 and 341.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
