Description: 
At 928 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles southeast of Brownlee, or 13 miles north of Thedford, moving north at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Brownlee, Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, Highway 83 crossing Goose Creek, and Highway 83 crossing the North Loup River. This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 154 and 192.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central Nebraska.
