Description:
At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Lorenzo, or 11 miles south of Sidney, moving
northwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sidney, Brownson, Sidney Municipal Airport, Lorenzo, and Cheyenne
County Fairgrounds.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 48 and
64.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
