Description:
At 623 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Chambers, or 20 miles south of O'Neill, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Goose Lake State Wildlife Management Area.
This includes Highway 281 between mile markers 158 and 167.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
