Description:
At 610 PM CDT/510 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 9 miles south of Mullen, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mullen, Seneca, Marsh Flat, Highway 97 crossing the Dismal River,
Highway 97 crossing Big Creek, Giant Hill, and Kelso.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 2 between mile markers 177 and 199.
Highway 97 between mile markers 50 and 89.
Instruction:
