Description: 
At 1230 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northwest of Johnstown, or 20 miles southeast of Valentine, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Springview, Norden, Wood Lake, Burton, Nets Peak, Smith Falls State Park, Meadville, North River Trail, and Sparks. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 213 and 225. Highway 20 between mile markers 210 and 213, and between mile markers 219 and 228. Highway 12 between mile markers 17 and 64.
