Description:
At 519 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Overton, or 10
miles east of Lexington, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Dawson County.
This includes Interstate 80 near mile marker 244, and between mile
markers 252 and 254.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
