Southeastern Cass County in southeastern Nebraska... * Until 600 AM CDT. * At 512 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Weeping Water, or 18 miles northwest of Nebraska City, moving east at 45 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHERN CASS COUNTY. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public report of measured 77 mph wind gust northeast of Murdock, NE at 5:10 AM. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
