Description: 
At 929 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Calamus Reservoir State Recreation Area to 14 miles northeast of Fort Hartsuff State Park, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Fox Bayou, Sunfish Lake, Horseshoe Bend Lake, Hannamon Bayou Campground, Buffalo Flats, Deverre, Valley View Flat Campground, Carson Lake, and Gables. This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 133 and 147. Highway 281 between mile markers 153 and 157.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north central Nebraska. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in North Platte. If on or near Calamus Reservoir, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
