Description:
At 650 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cambridge, or
28 miles east of McCook, moving north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. This storm has a history of
producing quarter size hail and wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph
in and near Cambridge.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Gosper and northwestern Furnas Counties.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
