At 512 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast of Lewellen, or 16 miles southwest of Arthur, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Bourquim Hill, Velma, and Jensen Lake.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for the Panhandle of, southwestern and west central Nebraska. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in North Platte.
