Southern Stanton County in northeastern Nebraska... * Until 715 PM CDT. * At 626 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Madison to 6 miles northeast of Platte Center to 3 miles southwest of Columbus, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Weather Instruments measured 71 mph winds near Platte Center. Powerlines are down at Genoa. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Leigh and Richland around 635 PM CDT. Clarkson around 640 PM CDT.
