Southern Gage County in southeastern Nebraska... * Until 1245 AM CDT. * At 1158 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles east of Steele City, or 14 miles southeast of Fairbury, moving east at 50 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR THE WARNED AREA. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Weather Instrument Measurement. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
