At 432 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lorton, or 12 miles southwest of Nebraska City, moving northeast at 50 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR TECUMSEH AND NORTHEASTERN JOHNSON COUNTY. HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Law enforcement. At 428 PM, quarter sized hail was reported west of Tecumseh. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. This severe storm will be near... Dunbar and Lorton around 435 PM CDT.
