Description:
At 147 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles southwest of
Weston, or 9 miles southwest of Wahoo, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported ping pong ball size hail
in the Dwight area with this storm.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Wahoo, Mead, Weston, Ithaca, and Lake Wanahoo Recreation Area.
Instruction:
Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.
