* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern
Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR.
* TIMING...Until 6 PM MDT Friday
* WINDS...Southwest, becoming west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to
40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Falling to around 10 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Upper 80s to lower 90s.
* IMPACTS...Any fire starts may rapidly grow and spread. Fires
will be difficult to control.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
