...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND THEN AGAIN THURSDAY... * WINDS...From the south, sustained 25 to 30 MPH, and gusting up to around 40 MPH. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as around 30 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although relative humidity levels will not drop as low as they do during most Red Flag Warnings, the combination of the strong south winds and the pronounced lack of precipitation in recent months will nonetheless result in heightened wildfire danger.
