The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Wednesday. * AFFECTED AREA...Southwest, central, and north central Nebraska. * WIND...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 16 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Upper 80s to lower 90s. * THUNDERSTORMS...Dry lightning possible Wednesday evening, as storms track east. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Gusty, erratic winds will be possible with thunderstorms.
