Description:
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by upstream excessive rainfall
Friday night is occurring.
* WHERE...Northern Thayer County in south central Nebraska...
* WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 657 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding along the
Big Sandy Creek in the warned area with numerous roads and
bridges under water. Flooding is already occurring. At 6 PM
Saturday evening some of the worst flooding was on the Big Sandy
Creek around Carleton. The flooding is expected to work its way
downstream overnight into Sunday morning reaching northeastern
portions of the county.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Little Sandy Creek, Dry Sandy Creek, Big Sandy Creek and South
Fork Big Sandy Creek. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
additional rainfall is expected.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
