The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 10 PM CDT this evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 209 Loup Rivers Basin. * TIMING...Today, Noon CDT / 11 AM MDT through 10 PM CDT / 9 PM MDT. * WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...11 to 18% with the lowest values in the Panhandle. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s. * LIGHTNING...None expected * IMPACTS...Any fire starts could spread rapidly and be difficult to control.
