Dawson County in south central Nebraska... * Until 815 PM CDT. * At 735 PM CDT, blowing dust was along a line extending from near Miller to near Eustis, moving northwest at 45 mph. HAZARD...Less than one half mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. * This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 253. Locations impacted include... Lexington, Cozad, Gothenburg, Elwood, Overton, Sumner, Miller, Eddyville, Smithfield, Willow Island, and Johnson Lake.
Instruction: 
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake.
