Description:
* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow. Total snow accumulations of 1
to 2 feet. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country will be impacted by heavy
accumulating snow. Widespread blowing snow could significantly
reduce visibility. Avalanche danger may increase.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highest snow totals expected over 9,000 feet.
Instruction:
Recreation in the backcountry will be hazardous due to falling and
blowing snow. Be alert for the possibility of increased avalanche
conditions.
