At 437 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 12 miles northwest of Shepherd to 15 miles south of Lockwood, or extending from 22 miles north of Billings to 16 miles southeast of Billings, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts up to 40 mph and up to penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Billings, Ballantine, Worden, Huntley, Shepherd, Lockwood, Billings Heights, Pompeys Pillar and Crow Indian Reservation.
