At 504 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles southeast of Ashland, or 29 miles west of Broadus, and is mostly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Powder River County.
