Description:
Scattered thunderstorms are on-going across the Hi- Line, generally west of Havre, and across portions of Central Montana this evening. While most thunderstorms have been of the garden variety, producing frequent lightning and periods of heavy rain, a few have become strong and produced wind gusts of between 40 to 50 mph, small hail up to dime size, and torrential rain. This trend is expected to continue through the remainder of the evening, with the primary concern being focused on the torrential rainfall given the thunderstorms slow motion. Those with outdoor plans should keep an eye to the sky and seek shelter should thunderstorms approach.
