Description:
At 653 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Helena to 14 miles north
of Basin. Movement was northwest at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Helena, East Helena, Wolf Creek, Marysville, Rimini, Spring Meadow
Lake State Park, Canyon Creek, and Austin.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
