Description:
At 231 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles north of White Sulphur Springs, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Stanford, Geyser, Neihart, Fort Logan On The Smith River, Newlan
Creek Reservoir, Raynesford, Windham, and Monarch.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
central and north central Montana.
