Description:
At 1132 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles south of
Ashland, or 40 miles west of Broadus, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and up to quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of West Central Powder River County.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
