Northwestern McCone County in northeastern Montana... * Until 930 PM MDT. * At 824 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 25 miles west of Opheim to 11 miles south of The Pines Rec Area, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Glasgow, Opheim, Nashua, Fort Peck, The Pines Rec Area, Tampico, Duck Creek Rec Area, Fort Peck Marina, Frazer, St. Marie, Rock Creek Rec Area, Vandalia, Park Grove, Thoeny, Haxby, Weldon, Baylor, Glentana, Larslan, and Whatley.
Instruction: 
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
