Clark Fork River Above Missoula affecting Missoula County. .Heavy rain combined with mountain snowpack melt may cause flows in rivers to increase quickly and reach critical levels. For the Clark Fork River...including Above Missoula...flooding is possible. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. * WHERE...Clark Fork River Above Missoula. * WHEN...From Sunday evening to late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...At 7.5 feet, Flooding of low lying areas adjacent to the river is possible. Flood waters begin to flood streets in the Orchard Homes area, specifically the north end of Tower Street including Kehrwald Drive. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM MDT Friday the stage was 6.1 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
