At 720 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hayti Heights, or near Hayti, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Dyersburg, Caruthersville, Hayti, Steele, Newbern, Hayti Heights, Cooter, Deering, Bradleytown, Heloise, Unionville, Miston, Cottonwood Grove, Lenox, Ayers, Papaw Ridge, Jenkinsville, Hathaway, Maxey, and Tiger Tail. This includes the following highways... Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 6 and 20. Interstate 55 in Tennessee between mile markers 13 and 15.
